| Sea glass is truly a gift of the ocean. Warren and Robbin design a leather bracelet to showcase its color, encasing it in sterling silver. "We're inveterate collectors and beachcombers. We just returned from six weeks sailing in the Solomon Islands and came back with 50 pounds of sea glass. It comes from World War II sailors drinking Cokes while getting ready for the battle of Guadalcanal. They tossed the empty bottles overboard, and the ocean polished the broken glass into pieces of real beauty, which we're recycling in this jewelry collection," the designers confide. Because the glass is found on the beach, each piece is unique. Colors will vary from pale blue to light green to white, and no two shapes are exactly alike.
